Today I was at Walmart picking up some stuff to dye eggs tomorrow at school. I was going from the home department to the food department and guess what I passed on the way.... the baby department! I must say up to this moment I have had really good self control. I've tried to be reasonable and think about how things are still early and things may not go as planned, but there were cute baby clothes staring at me. If you want to get this mama- show me baby clothes. The hardest part about being this early on in pregnancy is you don't know if you're having a boy or a girl so you really do have to wait. Then I realized that the baby will be born in December- a cold month which will equal a lot of sleepers. Sleepers come in unisex colors! I kind of browsed the section and I found the most perfect first outfit to buy for my little baby... a sleeper with lots of moose and Christmas trees! How in the world it got caught up in all the cutesy spring stuff is beyond me. I told myself that it would look great on a boy or a girl (headband with big red bow included) and it would be perfect for a Christmas baby. So I did what any excited new mother would do... I put it in my cart! Then when I went to checkout, I got really happy because is rang up for $1! I was so proud of my first baby buy. Of course I called to tell my hubby. His response: Already?
So what have I learned about pregnancy today? There are unisex sleepers out there and when you can get it for a dollar... you should get three!
