You may ask are there really 3 things that can go wrong when it's just cereal? I mean this is Lucky Charm cereal I'm talking about... so I just don't really know if that's possible. However, when you ask my husband, he says that when it comes to me there definitely can be!
Today was a good day. Mostly tired.. but that was quickly helped when I got home and I learned that I can now fall asleep sitting up on the couch and manage to have drool coming out of my mouth at 4:30 in the afternoon. After I woke up from my little nap, I wiped off the drool and greeted my husband as he got home from work. He sat down and started eating some leftovers for dinner. I think he was a little confused by my intense stare at his meal. See, he had asked me if he could eat my left over Fazoli's spaghetti (aka- my food lifeline the past few days). That was fine by me, what I didn't expect was for him to be eating the leftover pizza WITH the spaghetti. The pizza that I thought about before I took my nap. The pizza that ACTUALLY sounded good and I was thinking about eating cold. So my response to him eating one of the few foods that has sounded good to me in a few days- an intense stare. He looks over at me. My response: you're eating the pizza too? His response: He points to the large McDonald's bag sitting next to me on the couch. "I thought you had already eaten, that's a big bag." My response: No, that was my 3:30 snack- a couple chicken tenders :). He offered to give me his pizza, but his pepper filled warm pizza just did not sound good to me.
After the pizza didn't work out the way I had imagined, I started brainstorming what would be good. Lucky Charms! I LOVE my hubby! I love him so much b/c he has been so good to me and is so willing to help me after a long day of work. So, he decides to get me the cereal. I learned that his cereal making is about the equivalent to his PB&J skills (he typically lacks in the peanut butter department and puts way too much jelly- not to mention he doesn't cut it in diagonals). He brings me the cereal. #1- not enough milk. #2- big spoon. So naturally I asked him for more milk. He reaches for the bowl to take it to the kitchen to add more milk. #3- no, it will get soggy. His response: I have a lot of patience, but everyday a little bit is lost. (ha- I laugh b/c I know that this is completely true- I'm crazy, I know such things!) Anywho- back to my husband who is so awesome and I love him so much- he pours more milk in my bowl.
This is when the already crazy- gets crazier. I take literally 5 bites- I think I'm full. Then I get hot... like super hot. Brian turns on the fan. Then I get cold- super cold. Then I talk about my big zit that is coming in ... and I cry. Yes- I cry. Why? It's the shrinking of my brain I tell you! Lucky for me and my future bowls of Lucky Charms, my husband found this whole hormonal event hilarious and he added patience points back for me to use later and he also managed to eat the rest of the bowl of cereal!
So, what have I learned about pregnancy today? Well, Nothing makes sense- I'm now even crazier then I've been before, there really can be 3 things that are wrong with cereal- even Lucky Charms. AND my husband has A LOT of patience!!
