It has been forever since I've written! I have been so busy with the end of the school year and all the other things going on that I just didn't take the time to blog. I can't believe that today was the appointment when we got to find out the sex of the baby. I knew that there was only a chance we'd find out since we were only 14 weeks, but I was still excited to get some idea of what this baby is inside of me. The entire ultrasound was hysterical. Brian was completely unable to identify any of the parts that the ultrasound tech was explaining to us. "Do you see the eyes, nose and mouth?"- as she points them out with the curser on the big screen hanging on the wall. "No." "Well do you see these male parts?" "No." My response- Brian your a guy... can't you tell that what that is?" The ultrasound tech finally had to say, it looks like a boy!
Now, I have to admit, I was completely convinced that I was having a girl. To be honest, I didn't know what to feel when they said that they were 75% sure that it was a boy. I had my way of thinking for so long that I was just surprised. As the day has progressed I'm glad that we are having a boy. The only thing is that boy clothes are not easy to come by... super hard to find cute boy clothes.
What I learned about pregnancy today- expect the unexpected and rejoice in the blessings that it will bring!
